New Bathroom

So remember how I told you in a previous post that we never get really good before pictures...yeah, well while I was at work one Saturday Dan demo'd our guest bathroom upstairs without taking a before picture...the nerve!!!  Anyway, this is kinda in the middle, after the carpet was ripped out, but before the painting.  It is nice to have the carpet out, considering who knows how dirty it was!

This is me putting down the cement board getting ready for the tile.

Our pretty tile floor.  We were up LATE finishing it.   The tile baseboards are my favorite!  Dan and I re-did the tile in the shower a couple years ago.  That was probably our first project together...we were only dating at the time...but I knew I was investing in my future home!

Dan has got skillz!  I really love that his know-how gives us a chance to work together.  I love having a house!!  I will post another picture once we get the whole bathroom put together.

Im so impressed with your SKillzz- bathroom and garden? You should come to our house and we'll put you work.

PS I was thinking about our waterfight the other day- good times. That seems so long ago. Te quiero hermana

You guys are awesome! How fun. I can't remember if I said or not, but my parents are living in Pueblo and just go up to Manitou for the shop- Manitou Bikes. Anyway my mom is doing the cog trail this morning and it made me think of you.

Gorgeous! It looks so great Katie! I never understand carpeting in a bathroom, good change! We have some major early 90's flooring in two of our bathrooms, we will have to get some pointers on changing it.

Good job. Love the color and tile choice. Owning a home can be a lot of fun (huge headaches too.) We really miss ours and the fun projects.
