So the big question is... How long have they been in there? How long do they have to be sitting in a cupboard before those arms start growing? And how long does it take the arms to get that long? Our estimation: 4 months.
I was checking on what I needed to get at the store for dinner. I think we may have potatoes...
AHHHHHHH! I laughed for 10 minutes. The little branch arm thingys started growing out of the holes in the bag. It was quite startling.

Wow... even the potatoes at Kathie's house don't have arms like that! But very funny. You watch SYTYCD right? I watched it this last week, and I know the only way I will watch it is if I am with someone who does.... can I come to your house this week??? :-) I may leave by Friday to help my sister with moving on Saturday... we'll see.
We have the same sense of humor... I totally laughed! Hope you bought some more potatoes. I would think that having a husband from Idaho you'd have a better supply of fresh potatoes! :)
I would have to say that is empressive. I have had sprouts before, but not like that. That is just too funny.
Just say you were getting them ready to plant. You've got great sprouts now! What a potato crop you'll have this summer!
Crazy! I've never seen them that "sprouted" either!
Ew! I have had potatoes get little arms, but nothing like that! We did have a bag I had stored under the sink liquify once. It was the most disgusting thing ever.
almost scary. throw them in a pile of dirt outside and see what happens. hey-sonnet started a blog so check her out.
You could make potato head dolls with those they have enough sprout for arms and legs and maybe some locks of hair. How funny!
That is hilarious! I have had that happen but not to that extent, but now I know what would have happened if I would have kept the bag in there a few more months :)
Oh and , I love your new bathroom, way to go Dan!
HA HA that happens to me every time I buy potatoes for something I make. I must only need them every four months. Love you!
