This is the little boxador puppy that I am pretty sure I mentioned in a previous post. I got a call the other day from her owner to tell us that we are still in the running. We get to meet her on Monday! I hope we do well on the "interview" :). Her family is moving out of the country soon and obviously can't take her with them, so...thats where we come into play. I think she is so cute, I mean look at her little face! Dan has been reading Ceasar Millan's (the dog whisperer) book, The Pack Leader. We are totally getting ready, hopefully WE like HER and SHE likes US! Although I still hate to get a dog before a baby, but hey such is life.

still in the running

How cute is she?! I think you would be perfect parents. Also for a little baby...can't wait to here that news too!! ;)
What an adorable dog! I hope you get her. And there are many out there who would say getting the dog first is a great way to start a "family."
While you can sort of control when you have a baby, you have WAY more control in whether or not you get a dog. Really... don't feel bad about not having a baby first!
Nothing wrong with getting a dog before a baby. :)
Actually, I think getting a dog first is the better idea -- that way you can get it trained, and don't have to be chasing down a dog and a baby/toddler at the same time.
Ohhh I hope you get her! SO adorable.
She is CUTE!! I hope you get her! We got our dog a few years before Bryce came along...she is totally our baby!

Katie, saw your post. heh heh...Actually, we've had the "blog" for a while. I think Jeff started it a couple years ago, then changed his mind. Imagine my surprise when I saw "Jeff and Lori" on your blog. Who knew? But, NOW I'm starting a blog! woohoo! I have no idea how to, but I'll figure it out :)
If Dan is thinking about getting a puppy you better do it before he changes his mind, we Ricks kids are not the biggest pet lovers... maybe Dan just hated that he couldn't breathe around them. It will be fun to have a little buddy around the house!
